FISHING TRIPS OFFERED

South Point (Overnight)

An overnight trip to South Point is a tremendous experience and recommended for anybody who loves to fish. The "Southern Most Point" in the United States (South Point, Big Island) is known to be the one of the absolute best locations on the islands for fishing due its underwater topography, free flowing currents, changing tides and usual abundance of bait. We will be fishing for Big Game Pelagics, as well as Bottom Fishing. The overnight trip to South Point will depart at 3:30pm and we will return the following day at 3:30pm. On the way down and the way back, we will be trolling our lures just a few hundred feet from the beautiful volcanic coastline looking for Ono's or we will be running the fathom lines looking for Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Spearfish and Yellowfin Tuna.

Ikashibi (Night Fishing) for Bigeye Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna and Swordfish

If you want to go ikashibi Bigeye & Yellowfin Tuna fishing at night, just let us know. We love to fish for Big Tuna's (Ahi's), and we always try to use traditional hawaiian handlining technique to get the fish to the boat. If Sword Fishing is your thing, well then, you know how hard it is to get one! The "Hustler" crew will take you out for the night and we'll provide all of the special lights, rigs, bait and gear. The swordfish are here, we catch em', just need to find a hungry one!

Bottom Fishing (Deep Sea)

When it comes to Bottom Fishing, Captain Shawn loves to drop bait or jig the ocean floor for Kahala, Uku, Opakapaka, Onaga, Ehu, Lehi, Kalekale, Gindai, Monchong, Hapu'upu'u (Grouper), Giant Trevally (Ulua) and many other species. Bottom fishing in hawaii can produce some of the best tasting fish in the sea, and will also put your endurance to the test as some of these fish reside in waters deeper than 300 feet.

Big Game Fishing (Trolling)

No matter if you booked a 4, 6, 8 or 10 hour trip, we will be dragging our best big game lures through the Pacific Ocean (at 8 knots) in search of Giant Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Pacific Sailfish, Spearfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Big Eye Tuna, Ono and Mahi Mahi. As we start to head out of the harbor, all Anglers will be instructed on the proper procedures for when we "Hook Up." Where to Sit, How to clip into the Reel, How to Hold the Reel and what the focus of the angler should be - tight lines! Please freely roam about the Hustler throughout the day, and hang out where you wish: Inside the Galley, Up top on the bridge with Captain Shawn, or chilling on the back deck sipping your cold beverages waiting for the bite.
